Chopov is the Skeleton of Earth.

Chopov traveled to the Ninjago Caverns, seeking the Scythe of Quakes kept in the Earth Shrine of the Cave of Black Echoes. Sensei Wu sends players to defeat Chopov and recover the Scythe of Quakes.

Flanked by two Skeleton Raiders, Chopov battles players at the Earth Shrine. With Maelstrom-infused armor and machete, Chopov can use Maelstrom Spinjitzu that causes Maelstrom Poisoning on impact. When smashed, Chopov drops a Quick Build that assembles an Earth Lantern, which players must use to access the Earth Shrine and the Scythe of Quakes.

After Chopov's defeat, Hari Howzen saw Chopov continuing to lurk near the Earth Shrine. To test out the Portable Chaos Cleaner, Nya sends players to smash Chopov again and take his Maelstrom Dark Blade, which she purifies with the Paradox machine into a Purified Dark Blade.

Character Bio on LEGO.com[]

Skeleton of Earth
Weapon of Choice: Machete
Skulkin Color: Black
Strength: Defense

From deep in the earth, Chopov uproots all life. Nothing can stand in his path, for he knocks everything off balance. He swings his bone-sharpened machete and screams, "TIMBER!" until everything is chopped down.

Did you know that Chopov is built like a brick, and twice as smart? Maybe that’s why he likes watching paint dry.

Before LEGO Universe[]

Chopov originates from the LEGO Ninjago line.

Chopov is a fierce warrior known for cheating in battle. He is a minion of Lord Garmadon and formerly Lord Samukai, and was sent by his masters to collect the Four Weapons of Spinjitzu. His actual in-story role has been minimal, although Chopov stole the Nunchuks of Lightning and was pursued by Jay. Chopov also makes a playable appearance in LEGO Battles: Ninjago.

Trivia[]

  • Chopov's name is a play on the phrase "chop off".
