Dusty Holster is a Cowboy Picnicker NPC who hangs out at the Avant Gardens Launch Area.
Because the Launch Area is covered with Maelstrom fog, Dusty Holster will not talk to players until the Spider Queen is defeated. As a Model Vendor, he sells the Fort and Farm model sets. Interacting with him counts towards Making More Friends.
To give players practice with ranged weapons, Dusty Holster gives them a Plunger Gun and a Daily Mission to shoot six targets that he set up around Avant Gardens. After the Daily Mission is complete, players must return the Plunger Gun to Dusty.

In alpha testing and early beta testing, Dusty Holster wore a Gray Kepi Cap.
Prior to the Power of the Nexus Force update, Dusty Holster had discussions with Kirsten Quasar concerning the Spider Queen and Maelstrom Fog in the Maelstrom Mine. He talked to players about the goals of Venture League and the Sentinels. Dusty Holster also appeared in advertisements on the News Screen for the Farm Models. He told players that the models can be purchased from the Model Vending Machine behind him before it was scrapped.
Trivia[]
- Dusty Holster's name consists of Western-themed words: dusty, meaning covered with dust, and holster, a type of gun carrier worn by cowboys.
- Dusty Holster's artwork depicts him with an Indiana Jones fedora, while his in-game model wears a classic Wild West fedora. Coincidentally, his torso originated as Irina Spalko's torso from the LEGO Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull line.
- The Farm 4WD Model and Farm Horse Trailer Model sold by Dusty are based upon the LEGO City set 7635 4WD with Horse Trailer.
