Klaus Zett is a Gear Vendor NPC whose shop is located in the Sentinel Base Camp of Avant Gardens.

Beck Strongheart sends new players to purchase Armor Polish and a Sentinel Shield from Klaus Zett to teach them the basics of the Action Bar. Then, to teach them about Green Imaginite Crystals, Beck Strongheart tells players to buy ten crystals from Klaus Zett.

Sometime during the week of 9/4/11 - 9/10/11, a Stromling sneaked into the Sentinel Base Camp and found Klaus Zett's carton of Quicksicles. As a result, the Stromling was moving incredibly quickly and leaping through the air like a jumping bean, making it even harder for the local Sentinels to capture.^[1] Despite this, Klaus's in-game stock of Quicksicles has not been affected.

Beta Information[]

In alpha testing and early beta testing, Klaus Zett was unnamed and simply identified as Accessory Vendor. Very briefly in early beta, he assumed the title Sentinel Accessory Vendor. He retained the title Accessory Vendor until it was changed to Gear Vendor in late beta.

In alpha testing and early beta testing, Klaus Zett wore a visored hi-tech Knights Helmet and a Breastplate of Armor, sharing the same model as Theo Balfour at the time. Very briefly in early beta, his textures were changed to those of Bob with black gloves, giving him an appearance similar to the early Faction Vendors.

Prior to the Power of the Nexus Force update, Beck Strongheart sent players to purchase a Healing Kit from Klaus Zett while instructing them about Slot 5 of the Action Bar. Epsilon Starcracker also requested Armor Polish, which could be bought form Klaus Zett. Under the mistaken impression that she was out of Green Imaginite for new recruits, Melodie Foxtrot asked players to buy her ten Green Imaginite Crystals from Klaus Zett.
