The Models section of the Backpack
Models are structures that can be placed on Properties, representing complete or partial LEGO builds (as opposed to Bricks, which are individual pieces). A variety of models can be obtained as loot from Enemies, Smashables, or Packages, purchased from Vendors, or awarded upon completing Missions and Achievements. Once picked up, they are stored in the second tab of the Backpack.
Special types of models include Rocket and Car Parts, which the player can use to customize their vehicles in designated Build Areas.
Building[]

The Free Build GUI
- Main article: Build Mode
Model building is available in designated Build Areas. Properties owned by the player allow free building, where any type of model can be placed within bounds. Modular build areas can be found in the main worlds and are used for customizing the player's Rocket and Race Car. To use either area, the player must interact with it and put on a Thinking Cap.
Once a model has been placed on a property, the owner can click on the gear icon to add Behaviors to their models.
