I thought this was referred to in the Passport as just "The Monument". Shouldn't the article reflect the in-game name? --Chrisjander t/ c 22:32, March 2, 2011 (UTC)
Agreed. I'm changing it. It isn't even Assembly's monument! It is a mysterious monument left behind on Crux by the First Builders / Mythrans / whatever they are. :P Assembly just decided to restore and excavate it. They didn't build it...

I think I just involuntarily played a game of edit tag with Mythrun... :S :P

Ugh; it appears I have a lot to learn about wiki editing.... *sigh*
NOT an ancient monument[]
The part about the Ancient Structure is Alpha story. Non-canon. The in-game story right now is that Assembly is building it, the who ancient statue of the first builders thing is a scrapped story element. Jamesster.LEGO 23:05, March 2, 2011 (UTC)
Really? Could anybody provide a message plaque or other evidence? I'm hopelessly confused on the matter now...

answer for sherman[]
Assembly Monument
Site Manager: Rusty Steele
Assembly proudly presents another fine work, capturing the ongoing battle against the forces of Chaos.
Construction continues on schedule, despite interruptions by explosions nearby, as well as a strange increase in Sentinel traffic.

Thanks for that Nateh, I was worried I'd have to get into another argument about in-game canon with Sherman :P. Kryiptuun 01:57, March 3, 2011 (UTC)
@Nateh1997: Okay, there's the solution. Thanks for retrieving that.
@Kryiptuun: Get into a WHAT!? :P

lol, canon=official storyline, just in case you didn't know. Probably a joke, I should assume. Kryiptuun 02:16, March 3, 2011 (UTC)
Oh. Hehehe. He. He. Dude, I barely even REMEMBERED that! :P
ShermanTheMythran - Talk 03:01, March 3, 2011 (UTC)
Now that I think about it, changing the name of this would be like changing the Sentinel Encampment to Sentinel Checkpoint. They're referred to as both in game, but Sentinel Encampment is used more often, just as The Monument is used more often than Assembly Monument. Kryiptuun 03:53, March 5, 2011 (UTC)
Pre-Alpha[]
Should we have a separate page for the Pre-Alpha monument? I don't know if there's enough difference to do so.

Pre-Alpha Monument? I had no idea there was even a monument in Pre-Alpha. I know there was in Alpha (jamesster upload a video a while back that was his first Alpha video, and it was him doing the monument race), but I've never heard about a Pre-Alpha one. Would someone please explain that to me?
As for the question, most likely not. If there was a Pre-Alpha monument, it probably would have been recycled into the full game, so there would be no need for a page.
